This page explains what information Coastly ("we," "us," "I") collects when you use heycoastly.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice — please consult an attorney for your own situation.
Information we collect
- Travel preferences you provide. Budget, home city, max drive distance, party size, and similar settings you save in your travel profile. These are stored locally in your browser.
- Prompts and conversations. Text you send to the Coastly assistant is sent to our AI provider to generate a response.
- Basic analytics. Standard technical information such as browser type, device, referring page, and pages viewed.
- Email address, if you opt in to alerts.
How we use it
To generate recommendations, improve the product, send alerts you've requested, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties
Coastly uses trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, AI processing, and affiliate booking partners. When you click an affiliate link, the partner site's own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can clear your saved travel profile at any time from your browser storage. To unsubscribe from email alerts, use the link in any email or contact us.
